After taking to social media to explain how The Last of Us 2 Remastered PS4 upgrade works, Naughty Dog returns to Twitter/X to share a new clip dedicated solely to Joel and the roguelike mode Without Return is.
The Californian team at PlayStation Studios describes No Return as a TLOU 2 Remastered activity that is not for the faint of heart, as there are difficult challenges to overcome when playing the role of characters such as Ellie, Abby, Jesse and of course Joel.
In fact, behind the name that Naughty Dog has chosen to represent the activities to be carried out in this new mode lies not only the reference to the roguelike genre, but also the obligation (or the threat?) of a heart-pounding challenge be completed by wriggling out between mod items to unlock, equipment to master, and skills to upgrade. All of this against the backdrop of the constant threat of Game Over that comes from permanent death.
The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is about to be released January 19th on PlayStation 5.
